Big blues comes to Yekaterinburg!
Ladies and gentlemen!
We’ll be glad to see you at big blues fest in Ben hall pub on Oct 21th at 20.00! This time we’ll perform in a company of several astonishing artists!
Lorenzo THOMPSON is American blues vocalist. If you ask him about the time when he started singing, you’ll certainly hear that he has been doing it since he remembers himself. From early childhood he sang gospel in choir, a bit later he heard the music of Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, B. B. King and other blues masters and fell in love forever!
Jose Luis PARDO is a Spanish musician. He’s a real proof that for understanding and living with blues it’s not necessary to be born in America). Buenos Aires where the musician was born and grew up can’t be called blues Mecca, nevertheless Jose Pardo is considered one of the best blues guitarists of the world.
He started learning to play the blues at 10 when one night he found himself playing solo of Brian May for 2 hours on an imaginary guitar that in reality was a handle of a mop)). Now Pardo is thirty, he lives in Madrid and he has traveled with tours USA, France, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Columbia.
Omar ITCOVICI - this ardent Argentinean is known among Yekaterinburg blues fans by shows with Alexei Arganovski group “Brown Bread” (Moscow) and his band “Kingsize”. Because if Omar cult bluesmen from Chicago came to Russia and performed here - Lazy Lester, Mud Morganfield (Muddy Waters jr.), Phil Guy, James Wheeler, Eddie C. Cambell, Lurrie Bell, Tail Dregger, John Primer and many others.
So come and enjoy!
