Based in Ekaterinburg (Russia), this electric blues trio is one of the hottest blues acts in Russia now. BLUES DOCTORS was formed in 1998 by Vladimir Demyanov (guitars & vox) and his schoolmates: Michael Vasiliev on drums, Roman Imashev on keyboards and Evgeny Rinkevitch on telectric bass. Influenced by BB King, Albert King, Luther Alisson, Peter Green, Eric Clapton and other blues and rock greats, guys decided to name the band BLUES DOCTORS. First gig outside the native city at the Neva Delta Blues Festival 2002 (SPB) made the band known to a lot of russian blues lovers! 2002-2004: BLUES DOCTORS visited lots of russian blues festivals and clubs in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and all over the country and became very popular on russian blues music scene. In 2004 the band has released first CD "BLUES DOCTORS".

2005 was the year of big changes for BLUES DOCTORS but everything turned out well ) So, since 2005 BLUES DOCTORS are: Vladimir Demyanov - guitars &vox, Vladimir "Bob" Apanitsyn - electric bass and Ilya Ludevig - drums.

2005-2009: BLUES DOCTORS did a lot of club and festival gigs in their native Yekaterinburg and all over the country, played opening sets for russian blues stars such as Sergey Voronov (Crossroadz), jazzgreat Sergey Manukyan, and shared the stage with irresistible woman and fantastic guitarplayer Ana Popovic (USA), famous Marc Ford (USA), Keth Dunn (USA/Netherlands) and many more.
